Something special for your Mum and Dad
Not only do I offer a detailed wedding planning service but I can also organise special days for your loved ones. Being the mother and father of the bride is a very emotional time for any parent as it is a sign that their daughter has grown up and no longer depends on them as her future husband will take care of her. Even though they will always be your parents and you will love them the same as you always have it is easy to forget how they will be feeling of their little girl leaving home, changing her name, etc.
That is why I can offer a special service that will focus on the parents as after all you wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for them!
Mother of the Bride
One of the special days I can create is a pampering day for the mother of the bride and her daughter. This day can include any sisters or bridesmaids if you wish but my vision of the perfect mother/daughter day would be after a morning or day of trying on all of those beautiful wedding dresses and mother of the bride outfits a little pampering wouldn’t go amiss! You can be wined and dined with a fabulous lunch followed by a trip to a beauty parlour where you can enjoy a relaxing massage, manicure or pedicure, facial or anything you wish.
If you have any other ideas that would be more tailored to your mothers needs I would be happy to arrange that also. I can also arrange for your mum to receive a beautiful bouquet of her favourite flowers or some other gift if you prefer.
Father of the Bride
The father of the bride often gets left out of the planning process and all they are expected to do walk their beautiful daughter down the isle and deliver a heartfelt speech, oh and give unlimited access to their credit card or cheque book! Most fathers are happy with this as they believe all the excitement is for the ladies however on the run up to the big day the realisation of their little girl getting married starts to sink in which can be very emotional if you are a daddies girl. So why not show how much your dad means to you by arranging a special day for him whether that be his favourite hobby, sport, etc or a special lunch with his daughter.
